Using this site

1. Who these apply to

This site is operated by Anitha Home Appliances, No 9, 1st Floor, Toovepuram 8th Street, Near Old Bus Stand, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu — 628003. They apply to everyone who uses it, whether or not they hold an account with us.

2. Your login

Trade credentials are issued by your representative and are for your business, not for sharing. Anything done with your login — an order placed, a staff login created, a permission granted — is treated as done by you, so tell your counter at once if you believe someone else has your password.

3. Prices

Prices shown to a signed-in account are the rates agreed for that account, and they are confidential to it. They are not an offer to the world and they are not to be republished.

We take care to show the right price, but a rate, a discount or an offer can be shown in error. Where that happens we will tell you before the order is confirmed rather than invoicing you at a figure neither of us intended. Whether prices are shown inclusive of GST is stated on the support page and on every price on the site.

4. Availability

The catalogue shows what we trade, not a guarantee that a particular item is in stock at a particular counter on a particular day. Stock is confirmed when your order is.

5. Orders

An order placed on this site is a request to buy. It becomes binding when the counter confirms it — the same step an order taken over the phone goes through. Until then it may be amended or declined, and you will be told which.

Offers are applied automatically at the basket according to the terms of the offer at that moment. An offer that has ended is not applied, including on a re-order of goods that once qualified for it.

6. Payment and credit

Orders are settled on your account, on the credit terms agreed with your counter. This site does not take payment. Where you have permission to see it, your account shows your limit, your balance and which bills are due — but the terms themselves are the ones on your account.

7. Delivery, shortages and returns

Delivery arrangements, timings and charges are those agreed with your counter. Please check goods against the delivery note before signing for them, and raise anything short or damaged at that point. Returns, replacements and credit notes are handled by the counter that raised the order, on your account terms.

8. The site itself

The catalogue, its photography, its descriptions and its specifications belong to us or to the brands we carry, and are here so that you can buy from us. Copying the catalogue, or taking prices out of it by automated means, is not permitted.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site. We try to keep it available, but we do not promise it will never be down.

9. If something goes wrong

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, our responsibility for the use of this site is limited to putting right the order it concerns — we are not responsible for loss of profit or business arising from the site being unavailable or from an error in it.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to it, and the date it was last changed is below.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
